Internet connection is now being a deep need as most workload needs internet connection. For you who are mobile a lot and need a high speed wireless connection, you might use your mobile phone as the modem. However, when you have to share your wireless connection with other devices surround you, you might find problems. It was in the past.
Now, you don’t need to be worry of such thing as on 9th December 2008, Novatel has launched the MiFi Portable 3G HotSpot. This device allows you to take and also share your wireless connection with your closest friends while you are mobile. The MiFi works on three bases of data; they are wireless/LAN, GSM, and CDMA which offers you more flexibility. This means that if you don’t get GSM connection, you will still be able to connect under CDMA or wireless. This portable broadband uses an internal lithium battery which provides 40 hours stand by and 4 hours usage. Therefore, it can provide long hours of usage.
The MiFi also has a very attractive and innovative look as it is only as big as a credit card so that you can put it in your pocket. This means that you can still have a high speed internet connection while the MiFi is in your pocket. This portable 3G hotspot will be available in the market in the early of January 2009 which costs $200.
